American Eagle Airlines Announces Nonstop Jet Service Between Dallas/Fort Worth and Columbus, Ga.
Two Daily Nonstops Begin July 15
FORT WORTH, Texas, April 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will begin nonstop jet service between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Columbus Metropolitan Airport (CSG), beginning July 15. Eagle will operate the service with 44-seat Embraer ERJ-140 jets.

Situated on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, Columbus is home to Fort Benning, a major U.S. Army post, as well as several large corporations and manufacturers. Visitors to the area can enjoy numerous historic homes and museums, including the Columbus Museum and the National Civil War Naval Museum.
